About the team: IMCS Infrastructure Ops team provide support to the customer 24X7. We have a team of L2/L3/Technical Lead. Ops team have capability in multiple technologies such as Azure IaaS, PaaS, Windows, Linux, AWS, Kubernetes and DevOps. As cloud experts, we work on incidents, Service Requests and Change requests. It’s our responsibility to manage server, storage, networking and other cloud hosted resources. Also, we make sure to provide the best solution for the customer. Ops team perform periodic assessment to ensure continuous improvement in client infrastructure. The ensure that servers are security compliance by installing regular updates.

Responsibilities –

1. Provide technical support and expertise for customers’ cloud environments.

2. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, storage.

3. Analyze and troubleshoot performance-related problems in cloud services and recommend optimization strategies.

4. Handle incidents and service requests within defined SLAs, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.

5. Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.

6. Conduct root cause analysis and provide detailed incident reports to prevent recurring issues.

7. Assist in the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles, FAQs, and best practice guides.

8. Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity.

9. Support customers with cloud migrations, VMware on Azure, Cost Optimization and performance tuning.

Qualification:

1. Min Experience: 5+ Years in core Linux Administration

2. Strong general Linux Administration skills including shell scripting (bash)

3. Must have Redhat RHCE or Redhat RHCSA certification.

4. A good understanding of networking.

5. Familiarity with low level network protocols and able to interpret a packet trace.

6. Familiar with all the major components of an internet facing network (DNS, load balancer, proxy, reverse proxy, firewall, VPN etc.)

7. Should have working knowledge of Web server, Ldap server, Proxy Server

8. Experience in samba, NFS, Redhat Clusters.

9. Good understanding of SSL and certificates

10. Experience working in a cloud environment.

11. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills

12. Good to have cloud (Azure / Aws) knowledge.
