About the team:

Our team consists of skilled and experienced professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality work in cloud migration, DevOps, FinOps, datacenter migrations, AD migration and Infrastructure security across multi-cloud.

As a Cloud Solution Specialist, you will be managing and resolving P1 issues and challenges related to Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, Azure services, and modern software development (DevOps, CI/CD) practices. Additionally, they will act as an escalation point for L1/2/3 engineers.

• P1 Issue Resolution: Quickly diagnose and resolve Priority 1 (P1) incidents to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis for P1 incidents and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Incident Reporting: Document and report incidents, resolutions, and lessons learned to improve future response strategies.
• Deployment and Configuration: Deploy and configure Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, and Storage Accounts, SQL Databases, AVD, AD, VMWare, firewalls(azure firewall/ third party), On-Prem etc., ensuring they meet performance and security standards.
• Monitoring and Alerts: Work with team to ensure, set up and manage monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Azure infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use tools like ARM templates, Terraform or Ansible or Bicep to automate the deployment and management of Azure resources, VMware, AVD solutions. Understanding of On-Prem.
• Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
• Proactive Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as patching and updates, to ensure the stability and security of Azure infrastructure.
• Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and best practices with team members to enhance overall team capabilities and performance.
• Mentoring and Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them develop their skills and advance in their careers. Act as an escalation point for L1/2/3 engineers.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to understand their business objectives and technical requirements.
• Lead the design and implementation of hybrid cloud architectures using Azure IaaS, PaaS, DB, CAF, WAF, Networking services etc.,
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Manage and administer the hybrid cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud services.
• Design and implement virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups to ensure secure and efficient communication between Azure resources
• Good knowledge of Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF).
• Diagnose and resolve database connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and data integrity problems using tools like SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Azure Data Studio
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID Connect, Azure AD DS, and related technologies.
• Manage and administer Active Directory environments, including user and group management, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and domain controllers.
• Install and configure Microsoft AVD technologies, including host pools, AVD images, and scaling. Manage and support AVD clusters and high-availability systems
• Implementation and management of public and internal DNS servers.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and security.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, PowerShell, and Ansible.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hybrid cloud infrastructure services, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and Azure resources
• Deploy and configure VMware environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions.
• Provide hands-on support for VMware environments, including troubleshooting server hardware, networking, and storage issues
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud services, features, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, SQL PaaS, and security.
• Comprehensive understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and practices.
• Designing and implementing IAM policies to ensure secure and efficient user access management.
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud services, features, and best practices.

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Specialist with:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in handling P1 issues and challenges, with a strong focus on Azure IaaS & PaaS services, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Network services etc.,
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-700) are highly desirable
