Job Title: Cloud Solution Specialist - Azure Stack HCI

As a Cloud Solution Specialist with Insight, you will deploy and manage the organization’s hybrid cloud infrastructure based on Microsoft Azure Stack HCI. We will count on you to design, architect, and lead the implementation of cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure Services. Along the way, you will monitor the performance of the Azure Stack HCI infrastructure and perform troubleshooting and resolution for any system issues.

As a Cloud Solution Specialist, you will get to:

• Deploy and manage the Azure Stack HCI infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
• Design and deploy hyper-converged infrastructure solutions using Azure Stack HCI, Nutanix, and VMware.
• Implement and maintain scalable DevOps infrastructure using Terraform, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure that all Azure Stack HCI deployments meet the organization’s security standards and compliance requirements.

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Specialist with:

• As an Azure Stack HCI Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying and managing organization’s hybrid cloud infrastructure based on Microsoft Azure Stack HCI. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Azure Stack HCI, hyper-converged infrastructure, and related Microsoft technologies.
• The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Storage Spaces Direct.
• They will also have experience with HCI architecture and design tools and technologies, as well as with Azure Stack HCI troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Develop and design SDDC solutions, integrating vSAN for storage virtualization and NSX-T for network virtualization
• Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
• Perform regular updates and patch management for vSphere components
• Configure and manage Veeam Backup & Replication jobs to ensure data protection across virtual and physical environments.
•  The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential, as is the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management & Support: Greenfield deployment of the Azure Stack HCI infrastructure, including the creation, deployment, and administration of virtual machines, storage, and networking components. Design, architect and lead the implementation of Cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure Services. Design and deploy hyperconverged infrastructure solutions using Azure Stack HCI, Nutanix, and VMware.

• Evaluation of current systems and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Demonstration of expertise in Azure Networking concepts along with Azure Arc.
• Expertise with Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Expertise in Nutanix deployment and Lifecycle Management.
• Develop and design VMware vSphere infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.

• Automation: Proven Experience in PowerShell Scripting or any other scripting language along with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Ansible Tower.

  Infrastructure As a Code (IAC): Design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps infrastructure using Terraform, GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.

  System Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor the performance of the Azure Stack HCI infrastructure and perform troubleshooting and resolution for any system issues. Document system configurations, procedures, and changes. Maintain records of system performance, issues, and resolutions. Monitor and optimize the performance of vSAN and NSX-T environments to ensure high availability and reliability. Perform regular updates and patch management for SDDC components. Use Veeam ONE or other monitoring tools to track the health and performance of the backup environment

   

  Security & Compliance: Ensure that all Azure Stack HCI and vSphere/Nutanix deployments meet the organization’s security standards and compliance requirements. Implement and manage security measures such as access controls, firewalls, and encryption. Participate in the development and implementation of Azure Stack HCI security and vSphere/Nutanix policies and procedures.

  Backup & Disaster Recovery: Manage backup and disaster recovery processes for the Azure Stack HCI infrastructure. Test and verify backup and recovery procedures regularly. Perform data recovery operations, including full VM restores, file-level restores, and application item restores using Veeam Backup

  Documentation: Document system configurations, procedures, and changes. Maintain records of system performance, issues, and resolutions.

  Consultation & Collaboration: Provide technical consultation and advice to other IT teams, business units, and management. Collaborate with other teams on infrastructure projects and initiatives.
