About the role  

As a Networking Senior Engineer - Cisco ISE Specialization, you will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade Cisco Identity Services Engine network access and identity management solutions. We will count on you to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant Cisco ISE environments while leading technical initiatives, resolving complex issues, and mentoring junior engineers. Along the way, you will get to:  

• Design enterprise Cisco ISE architectures, deployment models, network access control strategies, security policies, and detailed technical documentation. 

• Lead multi-site Cisco ISE installation and configuration, including 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, EAP, segmentation, posture, guest access, and BYOD frameworks. 

• Troubleshoot escalated ISE issues, perform root cause analysis, optimize performance and high availability, conduct capacity planning, and support compliance requirements. 

• Coordinate with security, infrastructure, and application teams, mentor junior engineers, maintain knowledge documentation, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders. to four responsibilities

What we’re looking for 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience) 

• Minimum 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience  

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Cisco ISE design, implementation, and administration  

• Demonstrated experience with large-scale, multi-site ISE deployments 

• Advanced knowledge of Cisco ISE architecture, components, and deployment models  

• Proficiency in network access control (NAC) concepts and implementation  

• Strong understanding of authentication protocols (802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, EAP-TLS, PEAP)  

• Experience with network switches, wireless controllers, and endpoint devices  

• Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and identity management systems  

• Proficiency in command-line interfaces and scripting (Python, Bash preferred)  

• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
