About the role  

As an Engineer III (Cisco & Meraki Switch Network Engineer), you will design, implement, and support secure, highly available enterprise network infrastructure focused on Cisco Catalyst and Meraki technologies. We will count on you to resolve complex Level 3 network issues, lead network modernization activities, and maintain clear implementation and operational documentation. Along the way, you will get to: 

• Provide Level 3 support for enterprise, data center, and manufacturing networks, leading complex troubleshooting, major incident resolution, problem management, and root cause analysis. 

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco Catalyst 9300/9500 switches, Cisco 8200/8300 routers, and Cisco Meraki switches, MX security appliances, and cloud-managed networking solutions. 

• Support advanced routing, switching, and network services, including VXLAN/EVPN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, route redistribution, HSRP/VRRP, and Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies. 

• Deliver network migrations, upgrades, health assessments, performance tuning, fiber and optics validation, and technical documentation such as low-level designs, rack elevations, cable matrices, and as-built records.

What we’re looking for 

• Hands-on expertise with Cisco Catalyst 9000 Series switches, Cisco 8200/8300 routers, Cisco Meraki Dashboard, switches, and security appliances in enterprise environments. 

• Advanced troubleshooting experience across routing and switching protocols, production incidents, network performance, packet analysis, and high-availability services. 

• Practical knowledge of SMF/MMF fiber cabling, transceivers and optics, plus the ability to produce accurate implementation, port-mapping, connection, and operational documentation. 

• Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification; experience with SD-Access, Catalyst Center, SD-WAN, Palo Alto, network automation, or OT networks is an advantage.
