The EMEA Services Delivery function is responsible for delivering professional and managed services to our clients across a full range of technology and software offerings, delivering a scaled, consistent client experience and methodology through four centres of excellence (COE). The Service Design & Delivery team take the lead on designing client solutions in partnership with our clients before planning and executing the end-to-end engagement. The Engineering team provide innovative migration and implementation activities both automated and scripted, to achieve maximum efficiency, consistency, and performance. The Customer Operations team provide high-quality customer support across the region from multiple delivery centres. The Licence Consulting team provide expertise in optimisation and compliance services to clients on-premise or in the cloud, maintaining cost efficiency and savings. Complementing our COE’s are the Service Delivery Management team. Located in every country, they manage the client experience to ensure a truly client-centric approach across EMEA.


The LCS Consultant resides within the License Consulting Services area of EMEA Services function. The LCS Consultant is responsible for providing consultancy support to Insight’s clients, acting as a key resource for LCS managed services across the software lifecycle to deliver a wide variety of licensing solutions.

 

PURPOSE OF ROLE :
• Provide technical implementation, configuration, and tool analysis services to clients for Software Asset Management (SAM), compliance and optimisation solutions.
• Adopt a proactive approach to engaging with local account teams to build an understanding of the client requirements and help drive the delivery of solutions.
• Analyse and process client data to perform licensing reconciliation services, data quality assessments, and review of licensing agreements and usage rights.
• Utilise knowledge of software licensing to support Insight’s EMEA wide licensing desk, internal teammate queries and any client questions regarding licensing.
• Support internal Sales teammates to ensure the efficient delivery of LCS to clients.
• Acts as a technical pre-sales advisor to account managers and sales associates.

 

Primary Skills:(Must have)

  • Proven track record of delivering SAP License Optimization projects – User Analysis, Contract Optimization, Indirect Access Analysis, etc.
  • Knowledge of SAP Audit procedures, SAP LAW, USMM, SAP for Me, LMBI, Digital Access and HANA reports.
  • Experience with ECC-> S/4 HANA license conversions – On Premise or Cloud (RISE)

 

Secondary Skills:

  • Knowledge of key optimization tools like Snow, Flexera, Voquz, Aspera, ServiceNow
  • Preferable a consulting background and experience of leading licensing projects from inception to completion

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

IT and Licensing knowledge for at least

one software publisher

Experience of IT tools (Microsoft SCCM,

ServiceNow or SQL scripting)

suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)

Experience of working within a statutory

legal and/or regulatory framework
