About the Role:
The ideal candidate brings experience from managed services or enterprise support environments, demonstrating strong composure and analytical thinking during high-pressure, customer-facing escalations. They maintain a structured approach to troubleshooting, produce clear technical documentation, and possess a solid understanding of ITIL practices. A high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and ownership in resolving complex technical issues is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Architecture & PaaS Resource Engineering

• Architect and design cloud‑native applications using Azure PaaS services such as:
• Azure App Services
• Azure Functions
• Azure API Management
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Design and optimize PaaS solutions considering scalability, resiliency, DR, and performance.
• Implement best practices for API gateways, microservices, containers, and event-driven architecture.
• Integrate PaaS services with data platforms, identity services, and VNET‑integrated components.
  Configure secure access patterns such as Managed Identities, private endpoints, and service endpoints.

2. Strong Networking Design & Troubleshooting

Design and troubleshoot Azure networking components including:
Private Endpoints, Service Endpoints, Vnet Integrations
Load Balancers (Standard), Public IP, NAT Gateway
Develop secure connectivity patterns for PaaS:
App Service VNet Integration
AKS CNI networking
Private Link for PaaS services (Storage, SQL, Key Vault, APIM, Synapse)
Troubleshoot complex issues involving DNS, TLS, routing, connectivity latency, and subnet/IP constraints.
Optimize traffic flow, security boundaries, and hybrid network connectivity.

  3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation - Secondary Skill 
  Develop IaC templates using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
  Automate platform operations with Azure Automation Runbooks (PowerShell & Python).
  Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for deployment automation.
  Ensure consistent, repeatable deployments aligned with security, compliance, and governance.

4. Knowledge in Azure Data Platform Integration - Optional
Design data ingestion and analytics solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics (pipelines, serverless/dedicated SQL pools).
Build scalable ETL/ELT flows with Azure Databricks (Spark).
Integrate Synapse and Databricks with PaaS applications, API layers, and event-streaming systems.

5. Observability, Security & L4 Troubleshooting

• Application Insights
• Conduct L4-level debugging for - Must Have
• PaaS resource failures
• API gateway issues
• App Service and AKS performance bottleneck

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• 4+ years in Azure architecture with deep PaaS expertise.
• Strong hands-on experience with:

• Strong Networking Skills (Mandatory) - Primary Skill

• Network security (NSGs, Firewall, WAF) -Primary Skill 
• Data Platform Skills - Secondary Skill
• Azure Synapse Analytics - Primary Skill 
• DevOps & IaC Skills - Secondary Skill
