Full-Stack Developer - AI Pipeline & Prompt Engineering Specialist 

This role focuses on building and maintaining AI‑powered full‑stack solutions, including Python/FastAPI microservices and end‑to‑end data pipelines. It involves designing prompts for AI models, developing internal user interfaces, and ensuring scalable, observable, cloud‑ready services. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in AI/ML pipeline design, prompt engineering, and modern data technologies, helping deliver reliable, automated workflows across the organization.

About the role

As a Software Engineer III, you will design, build, and operate scalable AI‑driven microservices and data pipelines that reliably ingest, process, and deliver structured outputs. Along the way, you will get to:

• Build Python/FastAPI microservices that encapsulate AI pipelines for ingestion, normalization, validation, and publishing—with authenticated endpoints, usage logs, and RBAC.
• Design and document end-to-end pipeline stages (e.g., ingestion, pre-processing, AI extraction, validation, assembly, persistence) ensuring Ensure modularity and scalability (Hands on knowledge of- LLM models, its usage and prompt engineering/chaining)
• Develop stage-specific prompts to achieve targeted outcomes, confidence thresholds, schema validation, fallback strategies, low-confidence outputs, or ambiguities and reusability
• Create internal UIs for non-technical users to start jobs, monitor status, and review outputs.
• Design and implement content repository schemas and query/catalogue APIs for internal product consumption (REST/Open API; webhooks when appropriate).
• Ship reliable, observable services (Docker/Kubernetes, metrics/logs/traces, health/readiness, autoscaling).
• Expose selected capabilities via MCP servers derived from Open API specs.
• Normalize heterogeneous inputs into a consistent data model; design pipelines (batch/streaming) and maintain versioning, lineage, and auditability.

What we’re looking for

• Primary Technology: Python, FastAPI
• Strong experience in AI/ML pipeline design, LLM Models, prompt engineering and chaining.
• Cloud experience is mandatory (any cloud) and exposure on cloud AI model or services.
• Prompt Engineering: Ability to design and optimise prompts for AI models (LLMs, OCR, NLP).
• Workflow Orchestration: Experience with building modular pipelines that can later be automated (e.g., using Celery, Airflow, or similar).
• Preference: AI Integration: Familiarity with OCR tools, NLP libraries, and LLM APIs for content extraction.

Good To Have Skills/Optional-

• Additional Preferences: React, TypeScript, Next.js, FastMCP, Docker/Kubernetes
• Integration: Loosely coupled microservices; event-driven patterns (Kafka or equivalents).
• Understanding of data ingestion, transformation, and persistence layers.
• Experience with workflow visualization tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Draw.io).
• Database / Repository Expertise: MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL (schemas, indexing, transactions, migrations).
• Data Validation Logic: Implement confidence scoring, fallback strategies, and schema compliance checks.

Skills:

• Python/FastAPI, React/TS/Next.js, containers, OAuth2/OIDC, cloud
• MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL—data modeling, indexing, transactions, and migration experience
