About the role

 

As a Manager for Operations, you will get to:

  • Delivery Oversight 
    • Maintain a structured communication model and serve as the primary liaison between the India GDC and regional delivery/account teams. 
    • Participate in regular demand planning sessions to assess the pipeline, validate forecasts, and ensure the alignment of resources and capabilities with regional requirements. 
    • Oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for all regional projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. 
    • Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met with respect to timeline, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction. Establish delivery governance, risk management, and issue resolution mechanisms. 
  • Operational Management 
    • Forecast demand and align capacity while standardizing processes across delivery units and practices to ensure consistency. 
    • Identify bottlenecks in current processes or workflows, recommend and implement improvements in communication practices, delivery frameworks, and reporting standards. 
    • Track and improve key metrics such as resource utilization, operational KPIs, margin leakages, capacity, and cost efficiency. 
  • Commercial 
    • Ensure projects are delivered on budget with healthy margins and monitor costs. 
    • Support pricing and commercial terms for delivery contracts. 
    • Stakeholder Management 
    • Liaise with clients to manage expectations, communicate status, and resolve issues. 
    • Collaborate with sales and practice heads to align delivery with strategic goals.

What we’re looking for

  • 10 to 14 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a directly related role. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a similar role; MBA preferred. 
  • Experience supporting a team of quality and risk professionals. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and risk mitigation actions. 
  • Proven track record in successfully supporting quality and risk initiatives and driving continuous improvement. 
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and risk frameworks related to quality and risk management, such as ISO, CMMI, SOC, COSO, and ISO 31000. 
  • Experience, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment. 
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with local leaders, onshore leaders, stakeholders, and team members across different locations. 
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders. 
  • Ability to navigate and manage relationships in a global and matrixed organization. 
  • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams to drive quality and risk initiatives and achieve common goals. 
  • Leadership and influencing skills to drive alignment and consensus among stakeholders with varying perspectives and priorities. 
  • Ability to effectively manage and resolve conflicts or disagreements in a constructive manner. 
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills to effectively communicate quality and risk strategies, initiatives, and results to diverse audiences.
