We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Consultant to join us on a permanent basis on a hybrid schedule.


Although you will be working predominantly from home, you will be required to come into the office 1-2 times per week. You can be based near our Manchester or Uxbridge office.

The role


This HR Consultant role is pivotal in facilitating and driving change by helping the organisation achieve its goals. You will be a key interface within the business, providing integral HR advice and guidance. You will be supporting the execution of value-added initiatives and activities aligned to business objectives and strategy.





  • To partner with HR Business Partners to enable the following; delivery of HR solutions to maximise people performance, strategy, and workforce planning to significantly contribute towards strengthening business performance
  • Taking full responsibility and ownership for the development of a strong relationship between HR and the business, acting as a key trusted advisor through the provision of professional and commercially focused advice to line management and teammates alike
  • Provide local support on employee relations activity, co-ordinating investigations, and managing the in-country employee relations processes in accordance with local legislation to identify solutions and minimise risk
  • Promote best practices across the business, presenting HR matters in a clear and concise way ensuring managers implement HR policies and practices
  • Case management of long-term sickness issues and proactive absence management
  • Facilitation and delivery of bi-monthly new hire induction, review of material, and recommendations for improvement
  • Use of HR Analytics to identify areas for improvement and develop interventions for change in areas such as absence, attrition, and performance with clear deliverable improvements when evaluated



Your profile



  • Previous experience working as an HR Consultant within a similar environment
  • Fits well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and can work under pressure
  • Self-starter mentality, able to work independently and result-oriented
  • An excellent communicator, with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Positive, trustworthy, and high level of integrity
  • HR system knowledge–ideally Success factors/ SAP experience.
  • Familiar with HR data Analytics
