Operation Specialist

As an Operations Specialist at Insight, you’ll act as a subject matter expert for Insight’s Client Warehousing Programs and will provide program guidance / support to Sales and other Insight departments. You’ll be responsible for evaluating, processing, and documenting Warehouse Program use requests and will work closely with Sales teammates and leadership in order to meet SLA’s, manage inventory consumption, and meet department metrics.

  • Proactively acknowledge and complete daily inquiries and work requests.
  • Works inter-departmentally to support and successfully fulfill program requests.
  • Review warehouse program requests to ensure guidelines and requirements are met and makes recommendations to management regarding acceptance.
  • Build and maintain relationships.
  • Provide feedback on processes, efficiency and quality.
  • Responsible for accurate documentation.
  • What you’ll need to join Insight:
  • High school diploma and relevant work experience within the IT or Software industry; college degree preferred.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet stringent daily/hourly deadlines.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter who can work independently and must be an effective multi-tasker with strong organization and time management skills. 
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments is essential. The ability to identify and use resources to achieve deliverables is needed. 
  • The ability to read and understand documents and technical information is critical. Must be decisive and be able to support a balanced position between client needs and organizational needs.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have a strong Excel skillset. 

 

 

 

 

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Two-year degree preferred, but not required or 3 years Procurement and Customer Service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
