Security Representative I-First Shift

Security Representative I

Schedule: Tuesday– Saturday

Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm

 

As a Security Representative I you’ll be keeping peace and order in the facility.  You’ll guard against theft, vandalism and other crimes against the company and employees. You’ll also guard against fire and loss of property and comply with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, policies, order and rules relating to health and welfare.

 

What you’ll do at Insight:


• Continuous surveillance of the post assigned, paying particular attention to unusual circumstances.
• Enforce all security and safety policies and regulations.
• Monitor Security Cameras and Card Access, and Alarm Systems. Conduct foot patrols of building interiors and exteriors.
• Prepare daily security logs, and Incident Reports, record property movement logs, visitor logs, answers telephones for various departments after hours.
• Perform and comply with emergency notification procedures both internally and externally, as needed.
• Conduct Receiving / Shipping audits of material & product entering and leaving the facility.
• Prevent, detect and report breaches of security, fire hazards.

 

What you’ll need to join Insight:

 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• At least 1-2 years of security experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Military and or Law Enforcement experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to effectively communicate, present and articulate strategies across various audiences; sales, marketing, partners, clients, consultants, executive leaders (internal and external)
• Demonstrated use of computers, electronic equipment, two-way radios and security systems is essential.

• while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
• Light to moderate lifting is required
• Ability to uphold the stress of traveling
• Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
