What to Expect
As a Service Operations Specialist you’ll get to:
- Enter orders in a timely manner for the shipping, retrieval, and exchange of technology devices for specific accounts, while adhering to the clients Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, proactively managing receipt dates, working with distribution employees to resolve issues regarding lost and damaged products.
- Become an expert of information regarding specific products, programs, and initiatives of assigned vendors and product categories.
- Clear communication skills are required to deliver client facing messages verbally and in writing, and the ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints in a timely fashion.
- Work with vendors in acquiring Return Merchandise Authorization (RMAs) for damaged, unused products.
- Manage all aspects of assigned vendors, back-orders, and estimated time of arrivals (ETA), as well as the handling and tracking of warranty claims.

What you will need to succeed:
- Work with internal personnel on problems relating to parts ordering information.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate costing, classification, status of assigned products, identify billing and inventory discrepancies, and report appropriately. Work with finance to resolve any vendor issues, as necessary.
- Manage team mailbox, ensuring emails are addressed throughout the day.
- Answer questions internal & external re: processes, procedures, inbound/outbound shipments.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, and Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and ability to work independently, strong time management skills and ability to self-prioritize work responsibilities
