Senior Manager- Services

The Senior Manager of Life Cycle is responsible for driving the operational processes that support the needs of the sales organizations and our clients around device lifecycle process (Deployment, retrieval, repair, redeployment and disposal). By working internally with our sales teams to keep perspectives relevant and seeking voice of the client feedback the Senior Manager will own the delivery of continuous improvements driving optimizations of processes and offerings to keep us market leading.

  • Always focused on the client experience and manages process area with that as the main driver
  • Lead from the floor/front to drive optimization of process
  • Build and maintain executive management level relationships within Insight, its customers, and our partners
  • Run daily floor meetings going over performance and daily goals (SQDIP) to drive the business via data
  • Design and execute action plans to scale to growth demand, looking out 1, 3 and 5 years
  • Build strong cross functional relationships/partnerships to align appropriate supports for the operational teams
  • Drive teammate engagement and improve moral with passion
  • Create new structure/design and measurements for new QC/QA system
  • Develop and mentor direct reports and teams through communication, training, and strong hands-on leadership. Create and driving execution through developmental plans supporting KPI’s and Insight direction
  • Recruit, hire and own optimizing organizational construct as business drives change
  • Set clear performance expectations for his/her team to drive to sustainable and predictable business results
  • Utilized continuous improvement to drive integration efficiencies while promoting a C.I. culture throughout team
  • Develop knowledge base of process areas that feed and flow from operations to build out meaningful improvements and peer to peer partnerships
  • Prepare and present QBR presentations at an executive leadership level
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators to evaluate the performance and determine SLA’s
  • Work to develop standardization across all process areas
  • Align with other functions on large scale projects to support the growth of the business
  • Inspire the team through modeling our cultural through every interaction
  • Possess both the business acumen and courage to make difficult and unpopular decisions and recommendations
  • Participate in sales and client ops leadership meetings and share operational updates and action plans
  • Work cross-functionally with IT, Business Intelligence and other support organizations to implement changes to reporting tools, systems, policies and procedures
  • Lead communication for key updates at end of month and end of quarter (e.g., Backlog and client care)
  • Escalate and resolve client and sales issues
  • Other responsibilities as assigned



Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B.S. and B.A.) from a four-year college or university MBA is highly desirable combination of education and experience required; Information Technology Management, Education in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Customer Service or Management strongly considered.  Experience in the information technology industry in sales, supply chain or customer service a plus.

Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in business leadership, with a focus on strategy development and implementation within a warehouse environment.



  • Must have a high level of leadership experience and be comfortable working in a highly matrixed, and large corporate structure.  Must also be able to be a champion for and manage significant change initiatives and possess the aptitude to understand and process complex situations and data
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to provide overall team vision and direction
  • Polished professional who is comfortable with interaction with all levels of internal and external contacts
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively present information in a professional and effective way
  • Ability to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, or other teammates in a timely and accurate manner
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skill set
  • Read, analyze, and interpret general business requirements, technical procedures or regulations
  • Expert problem solver that can create and implement sustainable action plans a must
  • Strong project management skills culminating in timely effective results
  • Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented
  • Builds relationships and quickly develops trust with clients, as well as internal personnel
  • Works well under pressure and can multi-task effectively
  • Adheres to tight service level agreements (SLAs)
