Warehouse Associate Senior

BASIC FUNCTION OF JOB

The Warehouse Associate Senior will coordinate all aspects of the shipping delivery cycle, including but not limited to, invoicing, processing shipping documents, assisting with production, procurement, shipping and receiving, and/or other administrative tasks. The Shipping Support Associate will be seen as an important liaison between internal and external clients, making sure that everyone gets what they need quickly and efficiently.

 

The position will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Manage all aspects of assigned client and back-orders, SLA’s.
  • Proactively manage and schedule all inbound shipments, integration and outbound shipments required to integrate and deploy IT products
  • Investigate and resolve production, receiving and shipping discrepancies, proactively managing receipt and shipping dates, work with distribution teammates to resolve issues regarding lost and damaged product. 
  • Review list of workflows past their SLAs and follow up with internal and external clients, sales support.
  • Create simple shipping inbound and outbound orders to support integration labs and shipping department. 
  • Become an expert for information regarding specific products, programs, and initiatives of assigned clients.
  • Verify shipment compared to shipping information in SAP while noting any discrepancies. Perform daily inventory of production staging area to ensure orders are shipped to meet client SLA’s 
  • Inform the sales teams and other key stakeholders of schedule changes that can impact their clients                            

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.  At least 2-5 years of distribution experience
  • Understanding of distribution operations and SAP a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate, present and articulate strategies across various audiences; sales, marketing, partners, clients, consultants, executive leaders (internal and external)
  • Operating a forklift or pallet jack
