Capture Manager

Insight Public Sector (IPS) is expanding and adding an enthusiastic, professional and goal-oriented Capture Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have successful Account Management, Business Development and/or government IT solutions and services sales experience to the Federal-Civilian sector.

 

Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Identify and capture incremental contract opportunities in support of company growth objectives.
  • Hold responsibility for cross functional leadership of all aspects of capture management for the strategic opportunities identified and agreed upon by IPS Management team
  • Identify and capture additional growth within Strategic Customers.
  • Collaborate with Sales Management to create targeted plan of tactical sales and strategic marketing activities needed to increase account performance within identified growth potential accounts.
  • Specific activities include:
  • Customer relationship development/expansion
  • Messaging, communications and activities for optimizing win probability
  • Technical solution identification
  • Partnership/teaming relationships
  • Win theme creation
  • Bids & proposals contribution
  • Identification and development of partnerships/programs to add IPS value for account(s)
  • Implementation of pilots/proof of concepts in customer environment
  • Increase IPS visibility in targeted customers with face-to-face activities/briefings/web meeting and facilitate technical sessions and trainings that add value
  • Unsolicited proposals & BPA offerings

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 7+ years of experience in capture or proposal management
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong Federal Field Sales, Business Development and Program Capture Management experience in IT solutions and services environment.
  • Value-Added Reseller experience a plus.
  • Ability to lead matrixed resources in distributed geographies and time zones
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Goal and deadline driven
