Job Title: Inside Account Manager

We are seeking a curious & driven individual to join our high-performing public sector sales team based in Wellingborough.

The role:

To begin with, we will train you about exciting concepts such as cloud technology and teach you how to create meaningful connections with clients to help them understand their changing world.

Expectations of first 6 months


The first months are focused on developing your solution knowledge and building confidence when engaging with clients.

  • Lean the unique solutions Insight offer and how they benefit our clients.
  • Understand Insight sales methodology and with the help of a coach prepare for proactively calling clients.
  • Triage and qualify leads obtained from inbound sources. Collaborate with internal teams as necessary to ensure an excellent client experience.
  • Attend team meetings across the sales divisions to maintain an up-to-date understanding of services and products.
  • Develop skills in growing existing accounts and prospecting new business


6 months onward


  • Continue to grow and develop your account base
  • Collaborate with internal teams as necessary to ensure an excellent client experience.
  • Further, develop sales skills and learn effective techniques to build an account base.
  • Proactively reach out to new and lapsed clients to learn about their organisations and position Insight as a technology partner of choice.
  • Build a profitable account base


While in the team you will have access to a sales coach and our learning and development team who offer custom 121 training as required. We regularly run next-generation programs which are designed to find the superstar Client Directors, Solution Sales specialists & Leaders of the future.
