Inside Account Manager (IAM)

Location: Uxbridge (1-2 days per week in-office)

Insight is looking for a passionate Inside Account Manager (IAM) to join our successful Cloud Channel sales team. Working alongside the wider sales pod, you'll play a pivotal role in driving hardware and technical services sales for a portfolio of clients. By building robust partnerships and leveraging your technical knowledge to offer tailored solutions that align with a client’s needs, you'll provide ongoing support, ensuring that clients get the most out of their investments and that their technology solutions evolve with their changing requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and proposing tailored hardware and technical solutions.
  • Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding our product and service portfolio.
  • Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to effectively position our products and services.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, generate reports, and analyse data to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record in B2B sales, with the ability to identify and close opportunities, negotiate contracts, and build lasting client relationships.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of hardware, IT infrastructure, and technical services, enabling you to effectively consult and recommend solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the industry and technology landscape to meet the evolving needs of clients.
