About the Role

• Insight is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer - Network/Wireless to design, deploy, and support enterprise networking solutions across routing, switching, wireless, security, and software-defined networking environments.
• This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex network challenges, working directly with customers, and delivering modern infrastructure solutions.

What You'll Do

Network Engineering & Delivery

• Deploy and support enterprise routing, switching, wireless, and network security solutions
• Execute network migrations, upgrades, refreshes, and new site deployments
• Support network cutovers, maintenance windows, and production changes
• Participate in campus, branch, and data center networking projects
• Provide operational support and advanced troubleshooting

Wireless Engineering

• Perform wireless site surveys using Ekahau, Hamina, or similar tools
• Design and validate wireless networks
• Troubleshoot coverage, performance, capacity, and roaming issues
• Create and maintain wireless documentation and floor plans

Design, Security & Troubleshooting

• Assist with network design, discovery sessions, and implementation planning
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, and security environments
• Support firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, NAC, and secure access solutions
• Develop network documentation, diagrams, and implementation plans

Collaboration

• Partner with customers, architects, project managers, and engineering teams
• Communicate project status, risks, and technical recommendations
• Adhere to change management and quality assurance processes

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 3+ years of enterprise networking experience
• Experience supporting routing, switching, wireless, and network security technologies
• Experience with network implementations, migrations, and operational support

Required Certification

• CCNA

Technical Skills

• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• VLANs, routing, and switching
• OSPF, BGP, QoS
• Enterprise wireless technologies and RF fundamentals
• Wireless surveying and design using Ekahau and/or Hamina
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
• Cisco Catalyst Switching & Wireless
• Catalyst Center (DNA Center)
• Cisco ISE
• Cisco SDA and SD-WAN
• Meraki
• Juniper EX and Mist
• Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Secure Firewall, and Zscaler
• Aruba CX, Aruba Central, and ClearPass
• Azure and AWS Networking
• Python, Ansible, and network automation
