Key Responsibilities

As an Account Executive for the Public Sector, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, managing and expanding a portfolio of accounts while driving revenue growth across Insight’s technology and solutions offerings. In this role, you will independently own the sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to closing deals, while shaping clients’ buying strategies and delivering long-term value.

You will develop and execute strategic account plans, build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, and ensure a consistent pipeline of opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets. Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, the ability to interpret financial and market data, and confident decision-making to support profitable growth. 

You will collaborate closely with internal teams and partners, using CRM tools and structured sales processes to manage forecasting, pipeline health, and deal execution. A strong focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships is key to success in this role.

The ideal candidate brings proven sales cycle management skills, stakeholder engagement experience, and the ability to proactively identify growth opportunities while navigating complex business environments.

  • Strong soft skills, including communication and relationship-building and desire to learn processes and new skills quickly.
  • Positive attitude and proactive mindset with an interest in business acumen.
  • Ability to work smart and stay motivated, influencing stakeholders all levels.
  • Experience in selling to the public sector is a plus.
  • Passion for creating and seizing business opportunities.
  • Right to work in the country where you apply.
  • Both fluency in Swedish and English.
