We are looking for a Project Manager to join our EMEA Services Delivery function within the Project Management Office (PMO). You will be responsible for managing small to medium-sized projects across the Microsoft technology stack, ensuring successful delivery for our clients in Sweden and across the region.
You will lead projects end-to-end, working closely with internal teams, partners and client stakeholders to deliver to scope, schedule, budget and quality targets. This role is ideal for a mid-level project manager who can work independently, is comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently, and enjoys working in a dynamic, client-facing environment.
If this sounds like you, we would be keen to hear from you.
This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to spend three days per week on-site with clients or at an Insight office, with the remaining time worked remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end projects (small to medium in size) in line with Insight methodologies, processes and best practices.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies and quality throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, including internal resources and subcontractors, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities and expectations.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with durations ranging from one month to a year, depending on complexity.
- Plan and run project activities such as kick-off meetings, status updates, steering meetings and formal reviews.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, reports and governance artefacts.
- Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring accurate and timely updates in project management systems and tools.
- Execute change control processes, working closely with leadership when required.
- Ensure projects are delivered to agreed gross profit and revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, achieving high levels of satisfaction through clear, consistent communication.
- Identify and escalate risks and issues promptly, proposing and implementing mitigations.
- Support presales activity when required, including scoping, planning, and estimating new engagements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, identifying ways to enhance project delivery efficiency and quality.
Key skills and experience required:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering IT projects, ideally within services, consulting or systems integration environments.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of project management methodologies; PRINCE2 (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Experience with the Microsoft technology stack, particularly Azure and Microsoft 365; familiarity with broader Microsoft solutions is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Strong financial awareness and experience managing project budgets, costs and forecasts.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage and influence at different levels within client organisations.
- High level of organisation, attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation and deliver concise status reporting.
- Experience working with or within the Swedish public sector is highly desirable; experience in financial services, retail or other commercial sectors is an advantage.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a virtual, geographically distributed team.
