The solutions business is increasingly winning large contracts which are managed by third-party sourcing advisors. Insight is therefore seeking a dynamic, confident and experienced Advisor and Analyst Relations Manager to proactively manage and nurture relationships with third-party advisors and industry market researchers. This role involves ensuring that advisors are familiar with Insight's services and offerings, and are able to guide current and prospective clients to the full range of value that Insight brings

We are seeking a dynamic and confident Advisor and Analyst Relations Manager to lead strategic engagement with third-party sourcing advisors and industry analysts. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Insight’s capabilities are well understood and positively represented in influential vendor selection reports and advisory channels. You’ll be the bridge between Insight and the advisory ecosystem, helping guide prospective clients toward the full value we offer.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party advisors, including sourcing consultancies and research companies.
  • Advisor Familiarization: Invest time in educating these advisors about Insight's capabilities to foster positive perceptions and uncover potential business opportunities.
  • Types of Advisors: Engage with sourcing consultancies that specialize in outsourcing transactions and research companies that produce influential vendor selection reports.
  • Networking: Identify target advisory and research firms, focusing on top-tier firms and additional second-tier firms.
  • Introductory Contacts: Make introductory contacts and organize briefing meetings to introduce advisory firms to Insight's executives and operations.
  • Event Organization: Coordinate briefing meetings and events where advisors can meet Insight's executives and learn about the company's goals and activities.
  • Analyst Relations: Build relationships with analysts to ensure favourable mentions in research reports.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • A minimum of five years and preferably 10 years working in the I.T. consulting or outsourcing industry in a consulting, sales, sales support, or marketing role
  • An understanding of  the major segments of the IT services industry
  • An understanding of Insights competitors in the European consulting and outsourcing market
  • An understanding of the differences between the major segments of the IT services industry
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work across EMEA, especially in UK, Germany, France, and Scandinavia
  • Demonstrable track record of networking and relationship building

Desirable

  • Experience in at least three outsourcing deals of US$10M+ TCV
  • Membership or certification from the Institute of Influencer & Analyst Relations
  • Fluency in French or German
