Technology Development Specialist - Public Sector 

Hybrid - Uxbridge, Manchester, or Sheffield  

 

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving new business in the IT sector? We are currently recruiting a Technology Development Specialist specialising in selling Microsoft Solutions to our Public Sector SMC Clients. In this role, you'll be responsible for building initial relationships with key clients and partners, positioning our offerings to meet their needs, and laying the groundwork for long-term partnerships. Your expertise will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and driving growth.

About the Role: 

As a key member of our EMEA Partnerships team, your primary responsibility will be generating new business for Microsoft software and solutions. You will collaborate with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and establish strategic relationships that drive growth. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities for Microsoft solutions within the public sector SMC Segment 
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients and partners. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handover of leads for the full sales cycle. 
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans to align with Insight’s vision and expand market share. 

 

Experience & Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrable experience in IT sales, with a focus on business development for Microsoft solutions. 
  • Proven success in generating new business, particularly within the public sector market. 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills. 
  • Ability to identify client needs and translate them into business opportunities.
