Job Title:  Marketing Operations Analyst

Location: Sheffield, London and Manchester.

The Marketing Operations Analyst is responsible for managing the development and maintenance of an Intelligent Marketing Database including providing data analysis and reporting and supporting the business with marketing dashboards and data analytics associated with marketing campaigns. In addition, the Marketing Operations Analyst provides overall campaign and client insights to address key strategic questions and help the organisation decide on future marketing investments and initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 Campaigns & Reporting

  • Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analysing the performance of marketing campaigns, ad-hoc analytic/reporting requests, and development/automation of regular reports.
  • Monitor campaigns to optimise performance based on industry best practices.
  • Proactively explore data to find trends, discover KPIs, and apply predictive modelling.

Client Data

  • Analyse external and internal client data using database queries, spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools (Adobe), third party client data, and campaign management software tools.
  • Regularly review client data health and contact completeness, utilising third party data to cleanse, enrich, and enhance.

General

  • Responsible for designing and implementing new marketing processes, measuring marketing performance, and maintaining overall system functionality.
  • Advise EMEA marketing teams (E-Commerce, Campaigns, GTM, Brand & Communications) as the knowledge owner for client and campaign data.
  • Perform analysis for a wide range of requests/tools using data in different formats and from various platforms.

 

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates working experience or exposure to Digital Marketing efforts within an organisation
  • High level of written and spoken English
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Excel formulas, pivot tables, formatting, variables etc
  • Experience of Power BI experience or other data visualisation tools
  • Experience in analytical techniques related to marketing campaigns, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness
