Job title: Marketing Specialist – Campaigns - Public Sector.

 

Location: Uxbridge, Manchester and Sheffield - 2 days a week.

The Marketing Specialist - Campaigns is responsible for delivering world class user experiences and communication through owned and/or paid media channels. They are responsible for developing highly engaging marketing campaigns which includes the creation of microsites through to developing highly impactful email communications, focused on driving awareness of Insight and their partners solutions and services as well increasing online traffic, engagement, and sales revenue. In addition, they are responsible for planning, designing, and delivering campaigns to drive online revenues and increase client engagement.

 

In addition, the Marketing Specialist – Campaigns is adopting and project managing all EMEA and local marketing campaigns.  

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver a strategy to increase Insight social audience al local level, according to targets.
  • Develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders including the EMEA Marketing team and the and the vendor community. 
  • Responsible for building ad-hoc campaign content/pages to drive Insight and partner solutions and services-led campaigns, as well as maintaining all existing vendor microsites.
  • Collaborate on the creation of events, managing communication process, event kit creation, and aiding with logistics.
  • Produce bespoke monthly analytical and ROI reports around marketing activity with recommendations on best practice and result optimisation.
  • May be required to participate in the administrative management of vendors; system and invoicing, POE’s collection, MDF production and reporting, and claim management into partner’s systems.
  • Lead and drive best practice, striving to identify ways to improve and ensuring Insight provides a best in class experience for clients. 
  • Participate in the translation and localisation of materials, working closely with EMEA teams. 
  • Support with the campaign management including go-live, tracking and follow-up. 
  • Collaborate with appropriate teammates on the production of case studies, success stories, interviews, if required to do so by management.

 

In addition to the above key duties and responsibilities the Marketing Specialist Campaigns may be required to:

 

Manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns through third party platforms, creating both messaging and creatives, as well as monitoring performance. 

Develop strong relationships with local vendors to acquire funds for marketing campaigns.

Manage, optimise, and evaluate campaigns with internal and external stakeholders prior, during and after the campaign. 

Collaborate with/or support the Country Marketing Manager and/or EMEA teams in planning and building marketing campaigns. 

Deliver a range of campaigns, defining the correct marketing mix, and developing creativity and social media messaging.

Key skills and experience required:

  • Must have public sector experince. 
  • Previous experience working in a Marketing background, and of managing digital campaigns across a range of digital channels
  • Educated to degree level or can
  • demonstrate equivalent work experience
  • Ability to develop friendly, positive, and supportive working relationships with external and internal clients, and to provide them with excellent service
  • Excellent factual and creative writing skills, organised, analytical, target-driven, solutions-oriented, and commercially minded
  • High level of written and spoken English
  • Technical knowledge of eCommerce platforms
  • Desire to ensure continuous improvement and make Insight deliver world class service to its clients 
  • Understanding of what makes strong, shareable content, editorial voice, and personality
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Fluent in major design software
  • Experience of using web analytics packages and social media tools to produce and deliver reports around campaign evaluation 
  • Passionate about all things digital, a desire to keep abreast of new developments in the digital field to inform teammates and clients to share best practice and new ideas
  • A strong visual storyteller, self-motivated, and confident in both creative and technical abilities, able to work in a fastpaced but supportive environment
  • Experience of working in a sales-based organisation, and therefore understanding of sales-driven marketing environment
  • Must have B2B marketing experience, and therefore applicable understanding of competitive industry strategy
  • Experience working with content management systems and confident
  • uploading content on to CMS 
  • Experience of working with industry standard software which includes Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Strong creative copywriting and proofing skills with an adaptive style that has impact online for social media
