Location:

This position is eligible for a hybrid or remote work arrangement based on the candidate's proximity to an Insight office.

  • Team members who reside within commuting distance of an Insight office (typically within 50 miles) are expected to work in a hybrid model to support collaboration, planning, and event execution activities.
  • Team members who reside outside of commuting distance from an Insight office may work remotely. However, because this role supports the full event lifecycle, regular travel is an essential requirement.
  • Candidates should expect approximately 30% travel to support event planning, on-site execution, client engagements, team collaboration, and other business-related activities. Travel requirements may vary based on event schedules and business needs.

As a Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned company and partner events on time and within budget, including but not limited to: communicating with the business unit or teammate which requests the event, understanding the goals and objectives of the opportunity, and executing all communications and tactics to ensure the objectives are met.  Along the way, you will get to:

  • Outline and manage event timelines and milestones 
  • Meet with key event stakeholders to understand goals and objectives as well as budget 
  • Submit creative requests related to event needs and provide updates for creative teams to design, write or create needs.  
  • Review, negotiate and coordinate signing of event related contracts.

What we’re looking for

  • Daily demonstration of our values of Hunger, Heart and Harmony.  
  • A drive to deliver exceptional events and a go-getter mentality when executing multiple events at one time. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience with coordinating marketing events, conferences, client-facing events, incentive travel. 
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university preferred; or related marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
