Description

 

Responsible for all functions associated with material handling including shipping/receiving & Asset Control.

 

What you will do at Insight

 

  • Assist in the daily warehouse operations and activities, including the receipt, documentation, and storage of inventory as well as the preparation and packing of shipment to external suppliers and clients.
  • Provide on premise support for projects and other support teams where needed
  • Experience with hardware and software support, troubleshooting, system imaging, hardware break-fix support (i.e. laptops, desktops, and printers), refresh, upgrade and deployment projects. 
  • Enters shipping and receiving data into the warehouse management system.
  • Maintains storage areas by organizing floor space, adhering to Client space requirements and maintains accurate records of received / Shipped goods.
  • Retrieve data from computer as requested and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Delivers items to appropriate departments in the office.

 

What you’ll need to join Insight

 

  • Minimum High School Diploma required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an aptitude to learn new software applications. 
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Experience and knowledge in shipping/receiving preferred.

 

Physical Requirements – Demands Analysis

 

  • Handling maximum of 25 – 50 lbs.
  • 5-50 (occasional) - waist level lifting
  • Pushing/Pulling (pallet jack, hand carts and dollies)
  • Crouching/squatting/kneeling/crawling (rare)
  • Walking and standing (frequent)
  • Hand use (constant)
