Marketing Coordinator - Email Marketing Merchandiser

As an eCommerce Email Marketing Merchandiser, your primary focus is to execute the pricing & promotional strategy developed with the eCommerce Merchandising Manager in collaboration with the Product/Category Management team and Product Category Merchandisers. You will be responsible for setting & maintaining the promotional calendar, selecting products to feature on TigerDirect’s daily core promotional & targeted category newsletters to help drive the overall growth (revenue & margin) for TigerDirect.com. 

 

In this role, the eCommerce Email Marketing Merchandiser will have a direct impact to improve email conversion, drive transactional sales and incremental revenue. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive “can do” attitude, a proven ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and meet demands of a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all email merchandising functions:
    • Set & maintain promotional calendar
    • Product selection
    • Request email creation
    • Review and approve daily emails
  • Ensures competitive pricing
  • Collaborate with Category Managers and Category Merchandisers to create and implement category-based digital marketing strategies
  • Help drive higher average order values by utilizing strategies such as cross-sell, upsell and bundle offers
  • Provide feedback / make suggestions / take action to help improve customer experience
  • Review competitor sites to understand current best practices for email merchandising
  • Embodying and exemplifying company values of Hunger, Heart, and Harmony

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills & highly detail-oriented
  • Good verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be motivated and results-driven
  • Ability to effectively analyze and report on product’s performance
  • Minimum 1 year of online marketing/merchandising experience
  • Ability to quickly learn several in-house merchandising tools
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite applications – specifically Excel
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field from a 4-year college or university
