Description:

 

Our client in the materials industry is seeking a dedicated and skilled Bilingual Deskside Support Analyst for a minimum 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. The successful Billingual Deskside Support Analyst candidate will provide deskside support, helpdesk services, and perform basic troubleshooting tasks for a small . This role requires on-site presence and bilingual proficiency to effectively assist end users.

 

Responsibilities:

 

•    Provide deskside support and helpdesk services to end-users.
•    Install and configure Microsoft Office applications.
•    Perform memory upgrades and other hardware installations.
•    Conduct basic troubleshooting for software and hardware issues.
•    Respond to and resolve Level 1 technical support tickets.
•    Document and track issues in the ticketing system.
•    Assist with setting up and maintaining user accounts and profiles.
•    Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
•    Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.

 

Requirements:

 

•    High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
•    Proven experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
•    Proficiency in installing and configuring Microsoft Office applications.
•    Basic understanding of hardware components and memory upgrades.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Excellent communication skills in both English and French are required for this role (can be French-only).
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Strong customer service orientation.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

•    Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. of computer equipment as needed.
•    Ability to work onsite, daily in Coaticook, QC.
