Technical Sourcer

Montreal, Quebec, CA

As a member of our team, the Sourcer works closely with our Recruiters to develop strategies to find untapped candidates in both Technical roles and non Technical roles. In this role, you will work to find passive candidates through creative sourcing techniques, and have an initial conversation with the candidates to qualify them for the opportunity and attract them to Insight. We’re seeking a dynamic Sourcer who brings motivation, curiosity and scrappiness to our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for building and cultivating talent pipelines for our hiring needs and will be instrumental in our ability to scale our business and bring candidates to Insight.

 

What you’ll do at Insight

  • Use creative and fresh sourcing techniques to identify candidates for current needs and to build a pipeline for future opportunities
  • Identify and target passive candidates for critical and specialist hard to fill roles and qualify candidates through phone and video interviews, along with other assessment techniques
  • Utilize your skills, tools and data to continuously improve sourcing effectiveness
  • Track and measure sourcing effectiveness by hitting targets of sourcing quality candidates each week
  • Source passive technical talent using a variety of sourcing strategies
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

What you’ll need to join Insight 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and HR related experience
  • 2+ years sourcing experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting team 
  • Proven experience building sourcing strategies, and developing and executing candidate generation
  • Experience building a diverse candidate pipeline for difficult to find technical roles using attraction strategies such as cold-calling and creative sourcing techniques
  • Create and implement a communication strategy to maintain relationships with passive candidates
  • Ability to manage a consistent req load, spanning multiple business units and geographic locations
  • Ability to effectively communicate and partner with recruiters and hiring managers
  • Bilingual in French and English (both written and verbal)
