Warranty Solutions Specialist

Montreal, Quebec, CA Edmonton, AB, CA Calgary, AB, CA Mississauga, ON, CA


The Warranty Solutions Specialist is responsible for driving warranty and Smartnet business into buying and non-buying clients that are managed by an Account Executive.  Incumbents make outbound calls, as well as joint conference calls to clients, in order to identify opportunities to provide warranty upgrades and extensions, and support contract renewals on behalf of Insight partners.

Essential Functions of the Job:


  • Develop relationships with partners and sales teams to increase selling opportunities.
  • Generate quotes and orders, and register warranties.
  • Ability to explain vendor warranty details to clients.
  • Conduct a specified number of outbound dials daily in order to uncover a set amount of opportunities.
  • Meet minimum activity performance goals.
  • Assist with any client service issues.
  • Other duties as assigned. 



Education and/or Experience:

 A minimum of a high school education is required. Some college business coursework, sales training, client service training or computer industry training preferred. Three – five years client service experience and computer industry experience preferred.



Able to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints.  Able to take initiative, plan, organize, and sell to various sized businesses.  Must be able to understand clients’ requirements, meet deadlines and commitments, and excellent ability to follow up with clients.  Strong ability to identify and use resources (time knowledge, comprehension and skills) to achieve deliverables.  Effective use of PC including Microsoft Office required.  Proficiency with the internet a must. Strong ability to gain knowledge of IT products and services required.  Consistent behavior in a manner that is aligned with company values and operating principles required.
