Network Security Architect

Our client is seeking a Network Security Architect to assist them with the design and deployment of their CyberSecurity solution in addition to helping with the network security roadmap.

Title: Network Security Architect

Job Location: Remote (East coast hours).

Responsibilities:

The overall objectives of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist with the design and deployment of the CyberSecurity solution.
  • Document the Network Security environment.
  • Assist with the development of the Network Security roadmap.

Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience with IT Network Security
  • Strong experience with Bluecoat, Cisco Umbrella, ASA firewalls and AnyConnect.
  • Knowledge and understanding of information risks concepts and principles as a means of developing security controls that align with business needs
  • High level of knowledge in key areas of information security such as Vulnerability Management, Intrusion Prevention and Detection, Access Control and Authorization, Policy Enforcement, Application Security, Protocol Analysis, Firewall Management, Incident Response, Encryption, Two-Factor Authentication, Web filtering, and Advanced Threat Protection
  • Strong understanding of Security best practices and principals along with the ability to translate these into real policy settings and solutions.
  • Good documentation skills – able to accurately & effectively document the current environment from an Architectural perspective.
  • Make recommendations to optimize the environment both short-term and long-term (roadmap).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work as a team player

Nice to have:

  • Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP)
  • CCIE certification preferred
