Desktop Support Technician

Position Overview

As our Desktop Support Specialist, you’ll work in a dynamic environment supporting a large technology company. Leveraging your strong IT support skills, you’ll apply your technical abilities and provide excellent customer service while being surrounded by smart and motivated colleagues.


What you’ll do at Insight


  • Support teammates in person and remotely
  • Install, Configure and Troubleshoot end user Software and Hardware issues (Windows, Android, iOS and Mac OS X)
  • Track fixed assets and inventory
  • Educate and set up new teammates’ hardware/software


What you’ll need to join Insight

  • 3 to 5 years desktop support experience operating in an enterprise environment. 
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, Apple iOS and MacOS required. 
  • Hardware supported – Lenovo laptops, Apple MacBook, Apple iPhones and Apple iPads.
  • Strong experience with PC hardware
  • Strong experience with Windows 10
  • Knowledge and experience with Mac OS
  • iOS and Android support experience
  • Enterprise/Corporate environment work experience
  • Experience supporting C-Level Executive Leadership


Role Requirements

  • Request candidate not have any upcoming engagements or upcoming vacations for at least 3 months
  • Able to work in a team environment as well as work independently
  • Customer Service - must understand and provide high level of customer service. Must always be professional and courteous to end users and accommodating.
  • Punctuality is critical - 8am - 5pm. Must be on time for work. Very rare OT requirements or requests will be needed for this position.
