Description:

Our client in the banking sector is seeking an experienced Network Engineer that specializes in external domain management and internet security for a 12-month contract employment opportunity. The successful Network Engineer candidate will be working on a high-visibility project that involves managing and securing domains. As a Network Engineer, candidates will have expert knowledge and understanding of how DNS and SMTP interact with each other, as well as a solid foundation in routing and switching.

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated experience in Network Engineering, including but not limited to switching, routing, etc.
Experience with external domain management (domain registration, domain hosting, MX records etc.)
Strong background with DNS and SMTP and how they interact.
Working knowledge of DNS hierarchy.
Knowledge of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
Familiarity with CSC Global, a registrar and hosting company that provides domain security tools.
Ability to work onsite a minimum of one day per week in Toronto, Ontario.
Strong communication skills.
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
