As a Security Consultant II you will be a Subject Matter Expert in one or more areas of the security technology stack and will be a core contributor to your immediate team. You will work closely with our clients and teammates to deliver solutions around the security technology partners and services capabilities we represent.

 

This role provides ample opportunity for professional growth and will expose you to a variety of other consulting engagement types and security solutions, depending on your skillset.

 

What you will do at Insight:

 

  • Project delivery: lead or take part in the full scope of consulting engagement activities on customer projects from kickoff to hands-on technical work, to presenting the final deliverables. Create and maintain project docs and project status.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to client environments to improve the quality, performance, security and
    reliability of their network. Identify additional ways to bring value to the customer.
  • Internal Practice Development:
    • Contribute to internal Insight practice documentation, procedures, standards, and best practices, and templates.
    • Provide technical expertise to teammates, as necessary.

 

What you’ll need to join Insight:

 

  • Must possess and exhibit a high level of integrity, a passion for the disciplines of IT Security, and knowledge of sound business practices in IT operations.
  • 3-10 years of relevant Microsoft experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience designing and implementing Security and related technologies
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Adept communication and presentation skills, Ability to document and visually convey solutions as delivered.
  • Comfortable with client-facing interactions; sales or consulting experience a plus.
  • Adaptability to new practices, tools, and techniques
  • A proven track record of exceeding customer expectations and anticipating their needs are also required.
  • Ability to work with clients through difficult circumstances

  • Remote role on our CDCT Security Consulting Team
  • Limited travel

 

Stand-out Candidates will have:

  • CISSP/CISM or other industry accepted certifications
  • A degree in an IT or IT Security related field
  • 3-8 years experience in IT Security
