We're in search of a dynamic Business Development Manager focused on accelerating the Anything as a Service (XaaS) business at Insight for AMD and take us to the next level! Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive XaaS growth and meet sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build a pipeline of potential clients.
  • Lead direct client conversations on the benefits of the Anything as a Service and how they can improve productivity, security, and performance.
  • Drive the adoption of the XaaS service model by educating the Insight sales teams and clients on the process and the outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Map client’s challenges to the business benefits of the Anything as a Service model
  • Manage the delivery of projects, ensuring that the clients are satisfied with the results.
  • Follow up with the clients and the Insight sales team to convert pipeline opportunities into billable sales opportunities and close deals.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators, projects delivered, number of AMD servers invoiced, and revenue generated.
  • Articulate and provide feedback and insights to the AMD and Insight product teams on the client needs, preferences, and challenges.
  • Stay updated on the latest Insight and AMD services offerings, features, and innovations and communicate them effectively to the clients and the Insight sales teams through face- to-face interactions or virtual meetings.
  • Travel for presentations to top management, public groups, and Quarterly Business Reviews and attend company, vendor, and partner in-person trainings and webinars.
  • All other additional tasks or duties assigned by your manager.

 

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2 - 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Strong knowledge of AMD solutions and advantages over the competitors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and market trends.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the Insight sales team and the clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Attend industry conferences and events.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
