Location: Uxbridge, Sheffield or Manchester - 1-2 days a week in a week in office.

The Partner Marketing team develop and drive connections with vendor partners, with a view to creating long-lasting relationships and collaborative partnerships. They maintain strategic relationships with external partners, sales, and internal marketing teams to develop multi-channel partner marketing campaigns that support business strategy and lead generation. In addition, they contribute to increased brand awareness, customer acquisition, the generation of new revenue streams, and drive strategic growth for Insight’s solutions and services. 

 

The Partner Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing partner marketing strategies, researching and analysing the marketplace to identify new channel, partnership, and co-branding opportunities. They drive demand generation, brand building and awareness for Insight and its vendor partners, working closely with business leaders to create and roll out thought-provoking and engaging multi-channel partner marketing campaigns that measurably contribute to pipeline.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • To manage the implementation of initiatives or campaigns with identified partners and stakeholders in conjunction with appropriate Marketing teams. 
  • Build stakeholder relationships with assigned partners and negotiate on all levels of funding with a view to maximising income and recommend and advise partners on the best use of available funds to maximise vendor ROI. 
  • To coordinate the day to day account management of partners and stakeholders. 
  • Manage all existing marketing partnerships and identify opportunities to stretch these partnerships to meet the operating plan objectives.
  • Coordinate all marketing aspects of the partnership, including the quality of materials and correspondences received by the partners, any day to day issues and accurate recording of partnership activities. 
  • Participate in campaign planning for joint partner campaigns (program planning, campaign management, tactical execution, promotions).
  • Define integrated, effective campaigns and promotions, internally and externally, to meet adoption and pipeline goals.
  • Analyse and interpret relevant segment data and reports to help inform the campaign strategy.
  • Coordinate the involvement of teammates, including sales, partner business management, segment marketing and executive resources, in order to build the right plan. 
  • Host quarterly/bi-annual marketing reviews with strategic partners, present campaign performance and ROI and make recommendations, ensuring action follow up.
  • Improve and apply processes and best practices to ensure program success and measure outcomes and share with key internal stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to gain input into the program strategy, campaign approach, creative direction, and impact measurement (goals/performance).
  • To identify additional marketing activities, which can either directly or indirectly, positively effect partner sales/funding and make the business aware of any issues or problems that can or will affect potential or future funding.

Key skills and experience required: QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstratable experience of working within a campaign focused role and experience of campaign planning and execution with partners -Educated to degree level or can demonstrate equivalent work experience
  • Previous working experince with Mircosoft 
  • High level of written and spoken English -Resilient, tenacious and outcome focussed
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word) -Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
  • Ability to respond quickly and calmly to matters and transmit confidence and professionalism to clients  -An understanding and experience of the design and implementation of new business processes
  • Ability to work with clients, partners, and teammates at all levels, establishing credibility and building trusted status -Proven track record of working in an environment where client needs are variable
  • Exceptional organisation skills, experience of successfully delivering multiple complex projects -A track record of developing and implementing continuous improvement in service delivery
  • Ability to develop, negotiate, prioritise and manage project deliverables with other members of the marketing organisation as needed -The ability and willingness to develop and exploit a range of productive relationships both inside and outside the team
  • An understanding of campaign creation across all marketing segments, working either with channel partners on behalf of a vendor organisation or within a reseller environment building marketing plans with vendors  -Demonstrates previous campaign planning and execution that has delivered measurable business value in the IT industry
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, as well as the ability to consult effectively with internal stakeholders as well as stakeholders within our vendor partners -Experience of demand generation techniques through targeted campaign activity and be comfortable building campaign briefs working
