Location: This is Hybrid opportunity once a week onsite. Our office location is at 10th and 11th Floor Robinsons Cyber Omega, Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines 1605

The Buyer is responsible for supporting the procurement of software or hardware within a defined geography, ensuring that Insight EMEA purchases the right products and the right quantity at the best price. They support the Buyer’s in the purchase of goods, materials, and services to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met, considering price, quality, and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.

As Buyer, you will get to be responsible for:

• Responsible for the correct placement and fulfilment of purchase orders to distributors including proactive confirmation of purchase orders and obtaining tracking information for shipments, in line with audit requirements. 
• Liaise with the Sales and support teams, informing them of the availability and delivery dates, to maximise sales potential. 
• Ensure that delivery dates on the system are accurate and updated where applicable. 
• Backlog management; ensuring all PO’s are placed on the day of receipt and following up with distributors for ETA’s. 
• Manage incoming workflow requests, ensuring all tickets are responded to within SLA’s. 
• Ensure adherence to Insight’s policies and procedures in line with revenue recognition. 
• Respond to e-mails requests from Sales and support regarding post supply issues within SLA’s. 
• Maintain and support supplier relationships and keep up good communications. 
• Liaise with Suppliers over pricing and supply issues. 
• Support the purchasing team in undertaking due diligence of suppliers and ensure that new suppliers are recorded and registered on business systems. 
• Manage and update aged inventory aligned with targets set by management. 
• Ensure fill-rates are met in line with the buyer’s category targets. 
• Ensure daily departmental reporting requirements are met. 
• Deliver license keys directly to the clients (for software buyers only) 
• Provide day to day support to Buyers as and when required. 
• Responsible for tracking and claiming Sales rebates.

We are looking for Buyer with:

• Previous experience of working within a purchasing function 
• High level of written and spoken English 
• Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word) 
• Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills 
• Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with teammates, stakeholders, and suppliers
• Working towards a recognized qualification is preferred
• Outgoing, personable, responsible, self-motivated, and confident 
• Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley – US Audit Process 
• Can demonstrate experience of providing a high level of client service in a working environment 
• Ability to work as part of team and independently to deliver a common goal or objective and work across team boundaries to build and strengthen working relationships
