BASIC FUNCTION

Position Overview

Calculates commission/incentive award payments to sales personnel based on commission plan provisions. Proactive approach to Performs support activities needed for the administration of sales commission or incentive programs, plans. Performs review and analysis of commission data for accuracy. Responds to commission inquiries and works cross-functionally to resolve any calculation disputes/issues.

What you’ll do at Insight

The Sr. Commission Analyst role will be responsible for developing efficient practices to serve business needs
Calculate, review, and ensure accuracy of commission payouts
Receipt, review and enter into system of record sales requested adjustments to orders
Monitors commission mailbox. Review emails, perform necessary research, and responds
Audits costs or high margins invoices in commission data
Understands the various comp plans, components, and commission processes
Proactively identify and articulate opportunities to drive operational efficiencies
Support and perform ad-hoc research and analytical projects effective presentation of results or special assignments as required
Assist sales with calculators and commission reporting

What you’ll need to join Insight

College graduate
Minimum 3 years of experience in sales commission calculation and administration
Knowledge of sales operations and metrics
Intermediate Excel skills
