Income Tax Analyst I

Location: This is a hybrid opportunity where you will work once a week in the office. Our office location is at 10th and 11th Floor Robinsons Cyber Omega, Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines 1605

Now is the time to bring your expertise to Income Tax Analyst I role for a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator where success and fulfillment go hand in hand. As a Income Tax Analyst I with Insight, you will be responsible for preparation of basic components of Federal and State Income Tax workpapers and tax return compliance. Compute, file, and pay quarterly franchise/income estimated tax payments. Assist with the tax accounting for fixed assets. Along the way, you will attend to other tasks and Income tax projects as assigned.

Leadership: The Manager for this role is Jon King, Sr, Manager Tax Accounting and Compliance. Jon is based in Ohio and leads a team of Income Tax Analyst.

As Income Tax Analyst I, you will get to:

Prepare basic components contributing to federal & state income tax working papers and associated calculations, including book/tax adjustments, foreign entity calculations, return-to-provision true up adjustments, and other tax return schedules.
Help identify ways to improve processes and increase efficiencies to meet business needs. Assist with the preparation of the U.S. federal, state, and local corporate income tax returns.
Assist with the preparation of non-US compliance forms, including forms 5471, 8858, and 8865 and prepare state & local apportionment templates.

We are looking for a Income Tax Analyst I with:

Bachelor’s degree in Business
At least 1-2 years of experience in US/ Local taxation
Understanding of Income Tax process
Good in English communication, both written and verbal
