Maintenance Renewal Specialist

Position Overview

The Renewal Specialist II is responsible for reconciling client renewal contract data, preparing proactive renewal quotes, and processing subsequent sales orders.

  • Responsible for managing a book of business including selling and expanding maintenance renewals by conducting research, verifying maintenance renewal data, gather pricing information, generating renewal quotations including additional revenue opportunities before expiration
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including sales, vendor partners and clients to build relationships
  • Work in coordination with sales to proactively pursue maintenance renewals and develop new client leads
  • Provide accurate pricing guidance to internal and external stakeholders including sales representatives and clients
  • Database management: ensure integrity of data entered is accurate
  • Work collaboratively with internal resources to ensure purchase orders and invoices are entered correctly and processed in a timely manner
  • Reconcile contract information with internal and external stakeholders including clients, vendors, and members of the sales department
  • Provide accurate information to forecast renewal opportunities including providing status updates throughout the sales process using both internal and external tools, programs, and software
  • Receive and process client Purchase Orders to confirm eligibility of warranty products and accuracy of coverage status
  • Ensure onboarding of Clients when applicable.
  • Other reporting responsibilities as requested
  • Maintain key performance indicators (KPI) as assigned

 

What you'll need to join Insight 

  • Two-year college degree and/or 2-3 years equivalent relevant business experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
  • Relevant experience with customer account services, vendor, and client relationships, including maintenance support and/or contract renewals preferred
  • Relevant experience in the technology industry preferred
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including sales, vendor partners, and clients
  • Must demonstrate the ability to use effective communication skills to aid in forming relationships with clients, partners internal resources, and stakeholders
  • Must demonstrate the ability to utilize time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills to prioritize workloads
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and professional technical procedures, and regulations.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to produce accurate information
  • Must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with, present information to, and respond to questions from clients, groups of managers, and other teammates at Insight.
  • Requires the ability to work both independently and in a cross-functional team environment
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel and MS applications
  • Proficiency in relevant customer relationship management (CRM) software a plus
