As an Operations Manager, you will serve as the PMO Manager providing leadership and oversight for a team of nine Project Coordinators. This role is responsible for driving project governance, operational excellence, and successful delivery of organizational objectives. Along the way you'll get to:

 

What you'll do at Insight

  • Lead and oversee a team of Project Coordinators, providing direction, coaching, and performance support.
  • Establish and maintain project management governance, ensuring adherence to processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize resource utilization to support effective project delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Drive achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and alignment with organizational goals and business objectives.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and issue resolution across cross-functional teams.
  • Provide leadership in project planning, execution, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support strategic decision-making through reporting, performance analysis, and operational insights.

 

What you'll need to join Insight

  • 7-10 years of overall professional experience
  • 3-5 years of people management and/or leadership experience is a must
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate, guide, and develop team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong PowerPoint skills required
  • Experience with Smartsheet and/or Microsoft Project is advantageous
  • PMP and Lean Six Sigma certifications are considered preferred but not required
  • Ability to effectively manage and support a team of Project Coordinators
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience within IT or technology environments is preferred
