About the role

The Partner Associate will be responsible for providing outstanding support to the assigned Partner Manager who is managing and developing the relationship between Insight and its strategic partners. The Partner Associate will be executing the partner management process and help implement marketing plans that will impact various go-to-market initiatives to achieve growth and profitability objectives. 

This position will require the ability to understand and fulfill marketing programs to the internal sales channel, and drive end-user product merchandising online including catalogs, websites, and e-mails. 

Along the way, you will get to:

  • The Partner Associate will be responsible for developing efficient practices to serve business needs. 
  • Generate reports such as but not limited to Sales Out, Open Quotes, Pipeline, Open Orders and Market Share for both Partner and Partner Manager.  
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentation for Partner and internal meetings like Quarterly business reviews and quarterly or annual planning. 
  • Maintain current product listings by removing end-of-life SKU and creating newly launched products. 
  • Conduct website audit to ensure that Partner’s products are searchable on insight.com. Check for inventory, updated cost, content completeness rating, and web display status.  
  • Regularly request products and price list from partners and review if we are adhering to MAP or Minimum Advertised Price Policy, if applicable. 
  • Coordinate the creation and updates for Public Partner Store Page or Buy Page with Partner Marketing Team. 
  • Attend and participate in meetings or cadence calls with Partners and Partner Managers.  
  • Create, update, and track partner contracts. 
  • Gather Marketing Proof of Funding and Proof of Performance for submission. 
  • Help identify account owners for pipeline opportunities or do Account Mapping. 
  • Manage the team mailbox by answering basic product, pricing, process inquiries, and other partner-related questions. 
  • Monitor and track sales-related contests or spiff results and approval process. 
  • Create, update, and maintain Partner Pages in Inside.Insight. 
  • Request marketing assets such as banners, promotional flyers, and other partner collaterals. 
  • Work on special projects for Partners and Partner Managers. 
  • Build relationships with other departments such as POSS Team, Partner Finance Operations, Partner Marketing, Procurement, and Sales.  
  • Improve processes and provide feedback and suggestions to resolve issues related to their assigned responsibilities.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in business or any field, from a four-year College or University 
  • At least 1 year of advanced experience in administrative work and other related fields. Experience in customer service, operations, and other related experience is a plus. 
  • Great computer system knowledge and moderate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook. 
  • Moderate knowledge and skills in HTML. 
  • Able to thrive in an environment characterized by rapidly changing requirements and an ongoing focus on meeting operational objectives. 
  • Strong written and verbal English communications and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills required. 
  • Proven ability to think and communicate effectively in a constructive manner across all levels of the organization 
  • Strong commitment to company values and operating principles
