Location: This is a hybrid opportunity where you will work once a week in the office. Our office location is at 10th and 11th Floor Robinsons Cyber Omega, Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines 1605

As a Payroll Specialist II , you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements, and providing support for payroll-related inquiries.

As a Payroll Specialist II, you will get to:

 

  • Organize, prioritize and meet deadlines with accurate attention to detail while working with frequent interruptions and minimum supervision.
  • Process payroll for Hourly and Salaried employees accurately and timely
  • Perform high-volume detailed work with accuracy, assume responsibility, independently make sound fact-based decisions for daily tasks; maintain confidentiality.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries regarding salaries, wages, deductions and benefits and tactfully address complaints and make payroll adjustments as needed. ( top priority)
  • Complete appropriate changes to employee direct deposits, tax changes, benefit changes, etc.; investigate questionable forms prior to processing.
  • Handle payroll cycle steps for all employee changes such as terminations, transfers, promotions, rehires, new hires, leave of absence, and state moves.
  • Calculate final pay for terminations and adjustments per state legislation and company policy.
  • Create payroll submission by formatting csv files, uploading and modifying batches in ADP.
  • Contact ADP to address teammate issues or process questions.
  • Review mail and uploads documents to ADP for tax and garnishment services.
  • Validate accuracy of biweekly and/or semimonthly payroll submissions using standardized processes and reviewing reports prior to Senior Payroll Specialist’s review.
  • Responsible for bringing compliance issues to the attention of Management.
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and analysis
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist with:

 

  • Minimum 2 -4 years’ experience processing US Payroll. Understanding US laws and regulations.
  • Experience with US payroll administration, tax and/or garnishments preferred. 
  • Amenable to work on night shift schedule and hybrid set up
