As a Senior Test Engineer, you will design and implement a cutting-edge automation framework that revolutionises functional and automated testing of software products. You will have the chance to build and manage state-of-the-art software across various products, including pioneering new projects and technologies. Along the way, you will get to:

Collaborate to set the automated testing strategy
Create and define a test approach and execute every release
Define automated testing suites and lite documentation
Develop clean, maintainable code for continuous integration and deployment
Build test automation scripts for UI, API, and Middleware layers
Perform automation and peer code reviews
Improve Testing processes and practices continuously
Identify and resolve quality issues using data
Collaborate with the Testing Guild to improve testing practices

What we’re looking for

Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or comparable Industry Experience Ability to utilize time management, problem solving, and organizational skills to prioritize workloads
At least 7 years of testing experience, including 5 years in test automation
Expertise in Selenium, preferably with BDD (Behaviour Driven Development)
Advanced programming skills in any language, Python, Java etc.
Thorough understanding of Shift-left methodology and testing best practices
Strong proficiency in UI and API automation frameworks
Significant experience in component, integration, and system testing
Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD frameworks and their integration withtesting processes
Proven track record in reducing regression cycle time
Proficient in Git and code management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub)
A proactive approach, embodying a “you build it, you own it” mentality
