Location: This is a hybrid opportunity where you will work once a week in the office. Our office location is at 10th and 11th Floor Robinsons Cyber Omega, Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines 1605

As a Services Technician with Insight, you will hold a position responsible for break/fix support of client’s managed network devices. You will be working with a team of IT professionals delivering 24x7 IT support services to clients across different industries. The Service technician will utilize knowledge, skills, and abilities to resolve client’s issues with respect to agreed SLA, participate in improvement of our current processes, and utilize our array of tools and systems. Along the way, participate in improving process and knowledge base articles.

As a Services Technician, you will get to:

 

  • Perform incident triage and analyze incidents consisting of LAN/WAN/WLAN/SDWAN/Network as a Service structures using a variety of technologies, protocols, and common major manufacturers
  • Perform remote trouble shooting to isolate and identify system failures. Using technical knowledge, SOPs, and expertise, managing incidents within agreed upon SLAs and provide remediation and resolution
  • Complete scheduled intermediate level maintenance, management and network administration activities on routers, access points, switches, firewalls and other network devices or managed network configuration items

We are looking for a ServicesTechnician with:

 

  • At least 3 years of related work experience in a NOC or equivalent environment supporting IT infrastructure which includes administration, support, and implementation of networks.
  • Routers and Switches; Cisco Switches, Cisco Router (different vendors are fine)
  • Basic Network Topology, OSI Model 
  • MSP - Managed Service Provider 
  • SDWAN; wireless access points, firewalls
  • Experience in global or local support is fine. Remote troubleshooting experience required.
  • This is Client facing. Good communication skill is a must.
