Software Engineer Sr (Copilot Integration)
Pasig, PH
Requisition Number: 105221
Software Engineer Sr.
Solutions Engineer (Manila Delivery Center)
Why You’ll Appreciate This Role
If you enjoy helping enterprise customers get ready for AI at scale, the Solutions Engineer role is an ideal next step. You’ll work as part of a globally distributed delivery team—assessing tenant readiness, strengthening governance foundations, configuring Microsoft 365 workloads, and supporting phased Copilot rollout across a portfolio of US-based client engagements—while building the experience needed for a senior offshore or architect-level career path.
This role is well suited for Microsoft 365 engineers and administrators who want to move beyond day-to-day platform support into Copilot readiness and enablement programs. You’ll partner closely with US-based architects and project managers to execute structured rollout activities, document governance and security considerations, develop reusable deployment patterns, and contribute to the training and adoption materials that help clients realize value from Microsoft 365 Copilot.
What You’ll Do
Solution Implementation & Delivery
-
Assess tenant readiness for Microsoft 365 Copilot across Microsoft 365 Apps, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business, then execute architect-approved remediation and configuration tasks.
-
Support secure Copilot deployment by implementing configuration changes tied to access controls, policy settings, content permissions, and governance guardrails in alignment with project requirements and security guidance.
-
Execute phased Copilot rollout activities—including pilot preparation, validation testing, and deployment checklists—across multiple concurrent client environments.
-
Build and maintain reusable readiness checklists, deployment runbooks, governance documentation, and handoff materials that support consistent Copilot enablement across the Manila pod and client teams.
-
Work as the offshore extension of US-based Copilot architects, consultants, and project managers—taking direction asynchronously, surfacing risks clearly, and maintaining high execution quality across readiness and rollout tasks.
-
Participate in standups, design reviews, readiness assessments, and project ceremonies during the overlap window with the US team to keep Copilot enablement engagements on track.
-
Contribute to client-facing readiness summaries, user communications, FAQ content, quick-start guides, and training materials that support safe and effective Copilot adoption.
-
Provide advanced troubleshooting support for Microsoft 365 and Copilot-related issues escalated by onshore teams or client IT contacts, including readiness blockers, access issues, and post-deployment stabilization needs.
Operations & After-Hours Coverage
-
Support scheduled pilot launches, change windows, and after-hours deployment activities that align with US client business hours and rollout plans.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Copilot prerequisites, Microsoft 365 collaboration workloads, client configuration baselines, and enablement processes.
-
Monitor readiness indicators, deployment status, service health, and early adoption signals; surface trends to the onshore team and recommend follow-up actions that improve rollout quality and user outcomes.
-
Stay current with Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities, prerequisites, roadmap changes, governance guidance, and adoption best practices, then translate those updates into improved delivery patterns for the Manila pod.
What You Bring
Experience & Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
-
2–4 years of hands-on experience administering, engineering, or supporting Microsoft 365 environments, ideally in project-based delivery or enablement work for North American or global enterprise customers.
-
Experience working in a globally distributed, async-first delivery model—or contributing to readiness assessments, rollout programs, or client-facing technical enablement initiatives—is a strong plus.
Core Technical Skills
-
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, identity, device and app readiness, and core security fundamentals required for Copilot enablement.
-
Hands-on experience with Copilot-related workloads and foundations:
-
SharePoint Online (information architecture, permissions, content management, and oversharing risk remediation)
-
Microsoft Teams (configuration, policies, meeting and collaboration settings, and readiness for AI-assisted workflows)
-
OneDrive for Business (sharing controls, sync behavior, storage governance, and user productivity readiness)
-
Practical understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, deployment phases, licensing considerations, governance concepts, and common adoption challenges.
-
Working knowledge of PowerShell and/or Microsoft Graph for Microsoft 365 administration, readiness validation, reporting, and repeatable enablement automation.
Nice to Have
-
Experience with Microsoft Purview, SharePoint Advanced Management, or related governance and data protection capabilities that strengthen Copilot readiness.
-
Awareness of compliance, data protection, information governance, and responsible AI considerations in Microsoft 365 environments.
-
Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, MS-102, MS-700, SC-400, or other Microsoft 365, security, or AI-adjacent credentials.
-
Prior experience supporting US or EMEA clients from an offshore delivery center, especially on rollout, adoption, or platform enablement work.
Soft Skills
-
Strong written English—clear, concise, and professional async communication is essential.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially when diagnosing readiness gaps, rollout blockers, and cross-workload dependencies.
-
Comfort working under technical direction from onshore architects while taking ownership of execution quality, documentation accuracy, and follow-through across structured enablement programs.
-
Reliable, organized, and disciplined with documentation, stakeholder communication, handoffs, and status reporting in fast-moving client delivery environments.
-
Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to grow into a senior Copilot enablement, advisory, or architect role.
Work Environment
-
Based in Manila, Philippines—hybrid setup with the Insight Manila Delivery Center.
-
Flexible shift to provide a daily overlap window with US time zones (typical overlap during US morning hours).
-
Rotational on-call participation for scheduled US client maintenance windows and after-hours change events.
-
Occasional travel may be required for team offsites or client kickoffs.
Career Growth
This position is designed as a direct on-ramp to Senior Solutions Engineer and Architect roles focused on Copilot enablement, Microsoft 365 governance, and AI-driven workplace transformation. You’ll deepen your expertise through mentorship from senior architects, exposure to complex multi-tenant readiness and rollout engagements, and progressively greater ownership of technical assessments, deployment patterns, and client-facing enablement deliverables.

-
Helping customers prepare their Microsoft 365 environments for secure, effective Copilot adoption at enterprise scale
-
Learning emerging Copilot capabilities, governance patterns, and AI adoption practices alongside experienced architects
