About the role


As a Timekeeper, you will help Teammates and Supervisors accurately track their paid time by providing hands-on support with timesheets, answering questions, and resolving issues. This role involves reviewing timesheets for errors, responding to help requests, and testing system updates when needed. With a focus on customer service and attention to detail, the Timekeeping Assistant ensures the timekeeping process is smooth and payroll data is correct, while keeping information confidential . Along the way, you will get to:

  • Guide Teammates and Supervisors through the timekeeping system to help them submit accurate timesheets
  • Review timesheets with errors, contact users to fix mistakes, and ensure payroll reflects correct hours
  • Answer help tickets quickly, solving basic timekeeping questions and issues within set deadlines
  • Test system updates or changes when assigned to make sure everything works properly
  • Check timesheets regularly to spot and correct problems before they affect pay
  • Handle sensitive payroll tasks, like deductions, with care and accuracy when asked
  • Prepare simple reports and check data to support payroll processing
  • Assist the Timekeeping Lead with extra tasks as needed to keep things running smoothly
  • Take on other duties as assigned by management to support the team

What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university preferred
  • 2 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of DOLE laws/regulations related to compensation and payroll- nice to have
  • Knowledge of system functions/processes
  • Ability to analyze timekeeping data to ensure accuracy of reports
