Position Overview

The eCommerce Product Category Merchandiser will be responsible for the activation and designation of products to the website, managing a subset of categories and successfully maintain product catalog & visual merchandising across digital channels. He/She will execute the promotional strategy developed with the eCommerce Merchandising Manager in collaboration with the Product/Category Management team, eCommerce Operations, Marketing, Analytics, Search and Content team. In this role, the eCommerce Product Category Merchandiser will have a direct impact to drive transactional sales and incremental revenue

What you’ll do at Insight

• Collaborate with Product Category Managers to create and implement category-based merchandising strategies and business opportunities for the season
• Maintains and optimizes product designation for all products under assigned category ensuring findability through search and categorization
• Evaluate placement and productivity based on analytics to maximize sales
• Report out KPI results related to merchandising tactics
• Help drive higher average order values by utilizing methods such as cross-sell, upsell and bundle offers
• Review merchandising approach of key competitor sites to understand current best practices and emerging trends
• Provide feedback / make suggestions / take action to help improve customer experience
• Ability to interact with team members and cross-functional partners at all levels

What you’ll need to join Insight

• Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Power BI or other analytics platforms a plus but not required
• Excellent organizational skills & highly detail-oriented
• Good verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be motivated and results-driven
• Ability to effectively analyze and report on product’s performance
• Minimum 1 year of online marketing/merchandising experience
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite applications – specifically Excel
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field from a 4-year college or university or equivalent work experience
