About the role
Leadership: The leader for this role is Vlastimil Sopuch. Vlastimil is based in Perth and is the Team Leader for our Modern Workplace & Security Practice.
As a Consultant – Modern Work & Security, you will provide Level 1–2 onsite IT support to one of our key clients in Western Australia, supporting a user base of approximately 100 onsite users. We will count on you to be the trusted first point of contact for end users, resolving day-to-day technical issues, managing tickets, and working with internal IT teams to keep their environment running smoothly. Along the way, you will get to:
- Provide Level 1–2 endpoint and desktop support in a Microsoft-centric environment, delivering timely and customer-focused technical assistance
- Diagnose and resolve issues across Windows endpoints and Microsoft 365 services, managing incidents and service requests through a ticketing system and escalating where required
- Support endpoint management using Microsoft Intune, including device enrolment, policy troubleshooting and application deployment, as well as identity and access tasks in Entra ID and Active Directory
- Contribute to occasional project work such as device refreshes, endpoint onboarding, migrations, and security uplift activities, while documenting solutions and knowledge articles for ongoing support

What we’re looking for
- 1-2 years’ experience in a desktop or service desk support role within a Microsoft-centric environment
- Hands-on experience with Windows desktop support, Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Teams), and working knowledge of Entra ID and Active Directory
- Exposure to Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and a basic understanding of endpoint security concepts (device compliance, access controls, Microsoft Defender), DNS, DHCP and core networking fundamentals
- Strong customer service, communication and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tickets, produce clear technical documentation, and collaborate effectively with internal and client stakeholders
